The 2019 Spring Softball Select team try outs for the 10U – 14U divisions are December 16, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 (10U – field 4, and 12U – field 5).  We will provide location information for 14U shortly.  For those who are not familiar with our Select program, this is a program for our more elite players.  Anyone is welcome to tryout.  If you make the team, it will entail one extra practice a week and some extra games from mid-December through March 31, 2019.  There is a $50 per player extra cost to participate in this program.  This program is in addition to your daughter’s Spring recreational league, not as an alternative.  If you have any questions about our Select program, please contact Cherie Torres at laybssoftballuniforms@gmail.com or 714-356-6380.

Also, a reminder that registration for Spring 2019 is now open.  There is a $10.00 discount if you register before 12/1 (or for Ponytail before 12/7).  If you have any issues registering, please contact Devon Lyon at d.lyon@lyon-legal.com or 562-216-7382.

Lastly, please don't forget that every child needs to evaluate prior to the Spring season.  These are not try outs, they are evaluations to ensure your child is placed on the correct team.  Evaluations for Softball will take place on Saturday, January 12, 2019 – the specific schedule will be sent out closer to the date based upon division and last name.  If you cannot make the January 12th evaluations, we will have a make-up evaluation day during the week which will be announced shortly.
