LAYBS Baseball Families,
Fall Ball registration is now open. You will find the link on the Registration portion of our site, or you can click this link to take you directly to the registration page. Fall has the following Baseball divisions: T-Ball Academy, Rookie, AA, AAA and Majors. For Softball there is 6U (ponytail), 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U. All games are played on Sundays to allow our soccer athletes the opportunity to play both soccer and softball through the fall season. In addition to Sunday games, there is generally one practice per week.
We will be having try outs for our intact program. In order to try out you must be registered for Fall. A blast regarding Intact will be coming out shortly. The season will begin after Labor Day (Sunday September 9th) Teams will be formed the last week of August.
For softball, there will be an opportunity for the 10U-14U Athletes to try out for the Fall Select squads which will play additional games and practices throughout the Fall Season. Please note that you must be signed up for the Fall Season to try out for a Select team. Try-outs for the Select teams will be announced the first week of September.
If you have any questions about the upcoming softball fall season, please contact Devon Lyon at firstname.lastname@example.org.
There will also be a new Babe Ruth Senior Division for Baseball: This division will be for ages 13 - 15. We will be offering a senior program that will allow participants to continue their baseball development. The program directors will Jim Yogi and Dwayne Fowler. This is going to be a great training program for our 13 - 15 age group. As registrations come in we will be contacting you with more information. All players will play, there will be no cuts. We are looking for a minimum of 44 players and hope to exceed that. We look forward to a great new division! If you have any questions regarding the Babe Ruth Program please contact program director at DwayneFowler997@gmail.com
