LAYBS Baseball Families - 

Evaluations for our 70th baseball season at El Dorado Park take place Saturday January 11.  All players registered for our Single A - Majors divisions need to take part in our evaluation day. Players registered for our Rookie Division do not need to participate in evaluations. 

All players should show up 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled time to allow ample time to check in and warm up. Players should wear appropriate baseball practice attire and bring all equipment necessary including glove, batting helmet and bat. The evaluations will be a short process to allow for our coaches to see your players skillset to help with draft purposes. 

Please be aware that the division you registered for may not be the division you are drafted onto. Most all of our age groups are eligible to be drafted into multiple divisions. 

Groups are set up by age and first initial of your last name. Your players age is the age they will be on April 30, 2025 and not necessarily the age they are today.

8 Year Olds (and any 7 year olds evaluating for AA) 

A-F - 11:45 

G-M - 12:30 

N-Z - 1:15 

SINGLE A COACHES HOLDS - 1:45 

7 Year Olds (and any 6 year olds evaluating for Single A) 

A-M - 2:15 

N-Z - 3:00 

ANY PLAYERS REGISTERED FOR ROOKIE REGARDLESS OF AGE DO NOT NEED TO EVALUATE 

Player drafts will take place Sunday January 12 with team placement notifications going out the week of January 13-17
