Hello LAYBS Families,

 

Its officially here, October 1st is when Spring registration opens. Please read this whole email as it contains some new and important information for this coming season.

Registration this year will consist of early registration, normal registration and late registration dates and fees.

 

Oct 1st thru 31st early registration and $20.00 off normal registration.

Dec 1st thru 15th is normal registration price.

Dec 16th thru Dec 31st is late registration and an additional $40.00 to the normal registration price.

Normal registration is $295.00

 

 

Based on field availability (remember we must share with adult and HS teams) we will be limiting the number of teams for each division and the number of players to those teams to 11 players. We plan on doing our best to keep these numbers as firm as possible in order to provide the best possible playing experience so please take note of the following numbers on team availability.

 

Softball

14U Max 4 Teams

12U Max 6 Teams

10U Max 6 Teams

8U Max 6 Teams

6U Max 6 Teams

 

Baseball:

Majors Max 6 Teams

AAA Max 8 Teams

AA Max 8 Teams

A Max 6 Teams

Rookie Max 6 Teams

T-Ball Max 8 Teams

 

For baseball we are providing our recommended playing ages for competitive divisions. 

 

Majors- 11,12

AAA- 9,10 (limited 11-year old's)

AA- 8.9 (limited 7- and 10-year old's)

A- 7,8 (limited 6-year old's) 

 

All baseball players are free to be evaluated for divisions they qualify for, and coaches will then draft players based on what they feel are their appropriate division of play. For single A thru Majors, we do not take coaching and friend requests as all players are placed on teams via the draft process. Just because you sign up for a division it does not guarantee that is the division you will play in. 

 

Player's age is whatever your age will be on April 30th. It is not necessarily the age you are the day you register. 

 

EX- Billy is currently 8 years old. His date of birth is March 22 when he will turn 9 years old. Billy's baseball playing age would be 9 years old. 

 

EX- Billy is currently 10 years old. His date of birth is June 2 when he will turn 11 years old. Billy's baseball playing age would be 10 years old as he will still be 10 years old on April 30.

 

Please remember divisions and registration can and does close early because we have reached our numbers. Please don't wait until the last few days to register as there may be zero room for you and you will miss the whole season.
