Manager Jill Reyes as well as coaches Don Jewett, Brian Fowler & Steve Lew led this team to our league's very 1st trophies since our league became an ASA affiliate. During this tournament in Downey, the girls put up some impressive stats. 5 wins with no losses. In those 5 games our opponents scored a total of 6 runs while our team put up an impressive 45 runs, including a HR by Samantha Fowler, a triple by Sarah Searing and several doubles. Our 3 pitchers-Brianna Jewett, Samantha Fowler and Danielle Lew, combined for 51 strikeouts during the tournament. There were also several amazing defensive plays that helped win these games. We are very proud of our 8U All Stars! |
